The Deaths, The Abuse, The Immorality, and The Insanity

Jamie Brunette’s Suicide:

5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

************************
The generation of an estimated 8 million military service members of the Vietnam era, 1964-1975, is fading.

Cancer is the second-leading cause of death in the United States. Among men 55–69 years old, the group that includes most Vietnam veterans. The risk of dying from cancer exceeds the risk of dying from heart disease, the leading
cause of death in the United States.

Agent Orange causes cancer in Vietnam-era veterans.
Too many veterans who have Agent Orange are being completely ignored! They are dying.

The legacy of death and misery from the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan continues today

This reprehensible practice proves yet again that nothing is sacred when it comes to the military machine.

Just as the U.S. laid waste to Vietnam’s human health and jungle environment with Agent Orange, it wrecked human health and environmental quality in Iraq. That country will suffer from this toxicity for decades, as evidenced by sharp increases in birth defects and cancer and leukemia rates.

Likewise, U.S. veterans and their families are bearing the brunt of this travesty.

50% of those with PTSD do not seek treatment

Out of the half that seek treatment, only half of them get “minimally adequate” treatment

At least 20% of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans have PTSD and/or Depression.

84.8 Percentage of PTSD-diagnosed Vietnam veterans currently suffering at least moderate impairment, 30+ years after combat.

Retirement is expected to bring a whole new wave of PTSD

PTSD destroys!

War Is Hell, and the Hell Rubs Off

PTSD contributes to violence. Pretending it doesn’t is no way to support the troops.

We won’t fight and kill for a Government that
does not care about people.

Agent Orange has been killing unimaginable countless people!
The dioxin TCDD was an unwanted byproduct of herbicide production. Dioxins are pollutants that are released into the environment by burning waste, diesel exhaust, chemical manufacturing, and other processes. TCDD is the most toxic of the dioxins, and is classified as a human carcinogen by the Environmental Protection Agency.

The DNA is affected and is now in the third generation.

The Gulf of Tonkin (Vietnam) incident took place on August 2 & 4, 1964, and helped lead to greater American involvement in the Vietnam War.
Approved on August 10, 1964, the Southeast Asia (Gulf of
Tonkin) Resolution, gave President Johnson the power to use military
force in the region without requiring a declaration of war.
Research and declassified documents has essentially shown that
the attack to warrant such action did not happen.
Over the next few years, Johnson used the resolution to rapidly
escalate American involvement in the Vietnam War.

The Tet Offensive Should Have Not Happened!

In December 1967, President Johnson. Secretary of Defense McNamara, and General Westmoreland considered victory in Vietnam was near.
Just after midnight on January 30, 1968, some 84,000 Viet Cong guerrillas and North Vietnamese Army soldiers launched a coordinated attack on all of the provincial capital cities of South Vietnam.

The war between North and South Vietnam had already been raging for 13 years. While the military and political leadership of the US publically expressed complete confidence in a swift victory for the anti-communist forces
The Viet Cong, with support from the North Vietnamese Army, began a series of attacks that would strike more than 100 southern cities between January 30 and February 3, 1968. In each case, the communists unleashed a barrage of mortars and rockets, using weapons brought south via the Ho Chi Minh Trail, and followed with a ground forces invasion.

South Vietnam lost almost 5,000 soldiers killed, 16,000 wounded and around 1,000 missing in the first phase. Its SEATO allies lost over 4,000 troops killed and about 20,000 wounded or missing. In addition, 14,000 South Vietnamese civilians died in the fighting, and approximately 24,000 were wounded.

American President Lyndon Johnson grew so unpopular that in March of 1968, he announced that he would not run for a second term in office. March 22, 1968- Gen. Creighton Abrams takes over command from Gen. Westmoreland.
Secretary of Defense McNamara's tearful departed from the Pentagon at the height of the Tet Offensive in early 1968.
The entire higher command of the conflict (undeclared war) was totally out of control.

The Paris Peace Accords had little practical effect on the conflict 1973. The United States Congress refused to appropriate additional military assistance for South Vietnam.

The United States did not keep its word. Is an American's word reliable these days? The United States did not keep its promise to help us fight for freedom and it was in the same fight that the United States lost over 58,200 of its young men,
over 303,000 wounded and 1,600 missing in action!!

Saigon fell to communist rule.

Countless Death of Men, Woman. and Vietnamese Children!!!

Where is the leadership, character, integrity and intelligence today?

Mass murders will explode, drug and substance abuse will increase out of control, sexual immorality will destroy lives and thief of the innocent will sky rocket to support total insanity.

Watch and learn since no one today learns from the past.
